When programming 2018 and up Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep vehicles, the connection to the vehicle is made using the ADC2011 cable, which connects to the STAR (CAN-C connector) located in various locations in the vehicle depending on the vehicle model.
This cable is required for programming with ADS2272 (SD753301AD) software.
For a comprehensive Applications List for this software module please refer to the ADIQ, MYKEYSPRO, LSC CarLab and release notes.
When using ADC2011 connection to the vehicle OBD should not be required if the Smart Pro battery is sufficiently charged. If the Smart Pro battery is not charged and the end user is reliant on power from the vehicle OBD, the ADC2011 may prove to be too short to reach between the vehicle OBD and the vehicle star connector. Please ensure that the Smart Pro has sufficient charge available to avoid this. A ‘no voltage detected’ message may be as a result of incorrect system selection.
