  These locks have 4 depths but 8 different tumbler variations of each type. The difference is the location of the depth ridge in relation to the pilot extension which fits over the spring - same side or opposite side

• A,B,C,D are SAME SIDE
• 1,2,3,4 are OPPOSITE SIDE
• For series P-17-191/198
• 1,2,3,4 are SAME SIDE
