Lockwood 3579HS series electric mortice lock. Less cylinder. Suitable for unique applications where fail secure functionality is required externally with fail safe functionality on the inside.
To achieve this function the lock must be used in conjunction with an electric strike.
The Lockwood 3579HS is SCEC endorsed for secure area applications.
Monitoring includes dual key override, deadlatching, door closed, door locked, request to exit and reed switch.
The lock can be operated by push buttons, intercom systems and key switches; or integrated with electronic access control systems for use with higher security devices such as keypads or card readers.
Fire rated to 4 hours.
To achieve secure area rating, the 3579HS mortice lock must also:
- Be fitted with a SCEC endorsed 570 cylinder which is also secure area rated,
- Be fitted with full plate furniture, including 1800 series, 2800 series or Artefact series II.
