The Silca Marker 2000 program allows you to control the Marker 2000 machine from a PC. While the machine can be used stand-alone, the software program allows templates (models) to be managed on a PC, and this offers additional functionality and ease of use compared to the stand-alone operation.
If you wish to use the Marker 2000 in conjunction with other programs, such as Silca's Unocode, Triax, Idea or Quattrocode programs, you will need to purchase this software. Integration between all the programs is possible, and makes the task of cutting keys to code (according to their relevant machine), and marking them with key numbers extremely easy. This program is also required if you want to use the Marker 2000 with ProMaster.
This program also offers the ability to import templates (models) created on the Marker 2000 in stand-alone mode.
